To whom it may concern; The Rock Hill School District will be holding a public auction on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at the Rock Hill Middle School. Items such as computers, printers, and school-related furniture will be sold at this auction.



Sealed proposals will be received at the office of the Mayor, City of Ironton until Noon on December 17, 2009 and will be opened and read immediately thereafter for the City of Ironton, Ohio Etna Street Skate Park Engineer’s Opinion of Probable Cost: $40,000.00
Completion Date – 90 days from Notice to Proceed
This project consists of the furnishing and installation of approximately 123 cubic yards of concrete sidewalks to construct a skate park. Also included is excavation of approximately 84 cubic yards, backfill of 25 cubic yards, seeding and mulching, and other items indicated in the plans and specifications to construct the Ironton Etna Street Skate Park.

Bids must be in accordance with specifications and on forms available for review at the Ironton Mayor’s Office at 301 South 3rd Street, Ironton, Ohio 45638 and can be purchased and obtained at E.L. Robinson Engineering at 415 Center Street, Ironton, Ohio 45638 for a non-refundable cost of Fifty Dollars ($100.00) picked up or One Hundred Twenty-five Dollars ($125.00) mailed. No alternative form of mailing will be permitted.  Make checks payable to E.L. Robinson Engineering.
Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety.
Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity.
All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio Products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required.
Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Lawrence County, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division.
City of Ironton reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids.
