ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed bids will be received by the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the City of Natchez, office of the City Clerk, 124 South Pearl Street, Natchez, Mississippi, until 10:00 A.M. on March 13, 2012, and shortly thereafter shall be publicly opened and read at the meeting of the Mayor and Board of Aldermen in the Council Chamber, 115 South Pearl Street, Natchez, Mississippi, for furnishing general supplies, construction materials and contract services, as needed to be delivered to the site of various Public Works and Water Works projects within the corporate limits of the City of Natchez, Mississippi or its jurisdiction, for a one (1)year period beginning April 1, 2012 and ending March 31, 2013, excluding asphalt items. Asphalt items will bid for a (6) six month period beginning April 1, 2012 and ending September 30, 2012.
Bid packages for submitting proposals may be secured from the office of the City Clerk, 124 South Pearl Street, City Hall, Natchez, Mississippi. (601-445-7507)
Metal culvert pipe, concrete culvert pipe and plastic culvert pipe may be submitted on vendor's proposal form or by letter together with price lists and descriptive information as necessary.
Any quantities specified on any list of supplies are approximate only as a basis for the submitting of proposals.
Prices bid are to be firm and not subject to change during the period specified above.
Outside of envelope containing bids should be marked with time of bid opening and materials bid on and addressed to: City of Natchez, City Clerk, 124 South Pearl Street, Natchez, Mississippi 39120.
The City of Natchez reserves the right to waiver informalities and to reject any and all bids.
