Food Plant Mechanic
Golden Boy Nut Corporation
has opening for an experienced mechanic. The position is responsible for troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, mechanical checks, construction, installation, moving, repairing and maintenance of the machines at our food facility. Must have a good understanding of electronics systems and ladder logic. The position requires 4-5 years industrial experience as a machine repair mechanic or facilities equipment mechanic. Completion of 4 year apprenticeship program, or equivalent. 4 years of experience on troubleshooting machinery and controls or journeyman certificate. Responsibilities include: Ability to diagnose machine problems and repair machines including disassembly, part identification, ordering or fabricating and reassembly as necessary in a clean workmanlike manner.
Ability to operate all manual and power hand tools and electrical measuring
instruments. Capable of working with little or no supervision. Capable of managing several projects at a time. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English. Available to work any shift including weekends as
needed.
